“How bad does it hurt?”

You’re going to get a different answer from every person you ask! Pain is different for all of us! But 95% of my clientele are shocked by how manageable the pain really is! It feels like a STING right when it’s removed, and then the pain almost instantly disappears.

“How long does the hair need to be?”

3 weeks is a good rule of thumb for the whole body!
If the hair is too short, the wax can’t grab onto it, and you may be left with a lot of “shorties” I PERSONALLY loveeee waxing a FULL, LONG BUSH. The results are always amazing! And I promise, if I can braid the bush, I’ll trim it FOR YOU. Please don’t try to be a coochie barber and fade your own bush.

“What are some waxing contraindications?”

ANTIBIOTICS! - because waxing pulls hair directly from the root and acts as a strong exfoliant, doing it while on medication can cause wax to pull off the top layer of skin, leading to severe burns, scabbing and scarring!

ACNE MEDS - most common acne med is accutane! It is STRICTLY prohibited because the medication significantly weakens and thins the skins barrier!!
In the video, I mentioned 1 year of needing to be off, some Waxers will do it in 6 months!

BLOOD THINNERS.
Waxing causes pin point bleeding! 🩸 if your blood is ultra thin, it’s going to prolong your pinpoint bleeding, cause excessive bruising, and skin lifting since pulling the hairs from the follicle damages small, underlying blood vessels!
