All too often massage therapists compete with each other. I was guilty of this too. When I first got my license, I constantly thought, "I can do better."

Since I've started the massage championships, you would think it made me more competitive. NOT AT ALL! I now see, there is so much to learn from others.

Our community is bigger than we sometimes think, and therapists with different specialties can become some of your greatest referral partners and supporters.

If you see me as your competition, I want you to know that I'm not competing with you. I'd love to have a conversation, share ideas, and see how we can collaborate. I still have so much to learn, and I believe we're all better when we help each other grow.

Wednesday, weekly update! You are more than welcome to book online at yourmiraclemassage.com with Miranda, however, we are having some difficulties getting Morgan's schedule posted online. His should be up within the next week or two, but for now, please text us at 4352770337. He still has a 3 pm and a 4:30 pm opening tomorrow (Thursday, 7/9).

Next week's openings:
Monday (7/13): 10 am, 2 pm -Miranda
Tuesday (7/14): brand new scheduling options with walk-in availability for now! We are open from 10-6, with the last appointment starting by 4:30. -Morgan
Wednesday (7/15): 10 am, 2 pm -Miranda
Thursday (7/16): noon -Miranda
Friday (7/17): Open for walk-in availability with Morgan. We are working him into Tuesday and Thursday, but Miranda was already booked this Thursday, so he has agreed to work on Friday instead.

Any of these appointments can be for a couple's massage or single. We do require an intake form for each client, and customize each appointment to the client's current needs. Please reach out or schedule online.

This is a long read, and not something I wrote. However, those of you that have been in my table multiple times, know my story. I know I'm not alone, and I thank all of my clients for helping me love what I do. Just know, it's not as easy as it may seem.

Good morning, we hope you had a fun and safe 4th of July! If you haven't heard yet, Miracle Massage is offering couple's massages again! We never really stopped, but there were some difficulties getting everything lined up for couple's appointments, however, we are in full force offering them and already have a few on this week's schedule! If you're interested in booking a couple's massage, send us a text and we'll make sure we get you in. We do. still ask for a little bit of notice because we have to openings in the schedule, but it's much easier now than it has been in the last month. Here is a list of our openings this week , and the therapist they are with.

Tuesday: 10 am, noon, 2 pm, 4 pm with Morgan
Thursday: 3 pm, 4:30 pm with Morgan (these can also be booked as a couple's massage)
Friday: 10 am, 4 pm with Miranda (these can also be booked as a couples massage)

I've had to rearrange my schedule this week and have ended up having an opening at 3 pm on Friday (June 19th). Next week I still have some openings as well.

Lymphatic seems to be an area of focus recently, so let me explain a little bit about what I do with lymphatic massage.

I specialize in post surgery, post workout lymphatic. I use a very gentle technique with the help of gravity to allow your body to process the fluids that seem to stuck. You will feel immediate results, with less inflammation, your skin will feel "looser," you may have to use the restroom more, and you will feel more energy.

I missed posting this week! I'm so sorry, I am fully booked this week, and have just let time slip away. I do have openings on Monday next week, these are the only openings next week, so make sure you get in the schedule if you need some relief.

I've been doing quite a few lymphatic massages lately. If you aren't sure about what a lymphatic massage is, it's a great way to allow the body to heal. My favorite lymphatics are post surgery, but I recently started tapping into post workout lymphatic as well. There may be different lymphatic techniques out there, but my technique is very gentle. I use very little pressure to open the lymph nodes, and gently encourage the lymph veins to flush back into the node. It's a slow gentle massage with BIG results.

Post surgery lymphatic massage help loosen the areas effected by the surgery and encourages the medication to exit the body quicker. A lot of times, if you've had a surgery within the last few months and you haven't received a lymphatic massage, a deep tissue massage will make your recovery worse.
