Another power outage! We’re all frustrated but we have to head home. We will be in contact with clients asap as soon as we know we can fully function again.

⚠️ TRAFFIC ALERT — SIGNIFICANT POWER OUTAGES

Schererville / Highland / Munster / St John / Dyer

Use extreme caution if you’re traveling through the area. We’re receiving reports of widespread power outages, traffic lights out and power lines down.

LIVE WIRES are reportedly down on Indianapolis Boulevard (U.S. 41) & Main, near TJ Maxx.

Traffic lights are reportedly out along portions of U.S. 41 and U.S. 30. Treat intersections with non-functioning signals as four-way stops and expect significant traffic backups.

Avoid unnecessary travel through affected areas while crews are currently working on the scene with fire officials.

UPDATE - NIPSCO just returned a call to RNS stating, “We are expecting restoration this evening on a “main line” in Schererville that failed. Officials on scene stated the main line slipped out of a sleeve and then made contact with other wires causing some loud explosions.

NIPSCO went on to tell us that this very well could be the reason for the new outages stretching to Hammond & EC as well.

So everyone that just restocked your fridges, that’s the latest we have for you.
