I will be out of the salon for vacation & some much needed sunshine.
My appointment book will still be available to get those appointments scheduled for when I'm back. The 17th & 18th are almost filled & the July calendar is now available. 🤘🏻

Whatever your major transformation looks like--light to dark, or dark to light--here's some tips to keep your new look ••fresh•• during summer!

☀️ sunshine is a heat source (just like a flat iron or blow dryer) as well as 🧴tanning beds!

•👒 wear a hat during lake days, kids sporting events, or any time you'll be in direct sunlight for an extended time. This also prevents your scalp from being burnt 🥵

•take a hair towel (you can purchase in the salon!) or wrap your shirt around your fresh color while tanning to preventing color fading or drying out your hair.

•🔥use a heat protectant (or as in like to call it, hair sunscreen🤪) check the comments for some of my favorites!!! Not only will it prevent coloring fading or dryness, it helps keep the integrity of your hair & adds a healthy shine.

Behind the chair, we give so much of ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally. If we don’t protect our peace, burnout will.

Boundaries don’t make you rude.
Boundaries make your career sustainable.

The best hairstylists aren’t the ones running themselves into the ground for everyone else — they’re the ones who learned how to protect their energy while still giving amazing service.
