This is the pour from the big batch I cut in my last video. 🧼✨

This 40 lb mold is the original batch size I started with 10 years ago, back when Ella’s Soapbox had 3 soap variations instead of 12. My dad and I made the mold and the soap cutter that goes with it. 🛠️🪚

I did the original volume math. My dad double-checked it, because he is wise and also knows who he raised. 😂🧮

To be clear, I can do math when properly motivated. Tip percentages when I was a waitress? Immediate. 💸

Soap volume now that I’m a soapmaker? Also yes. 🧼📏

But soap recipe math is a different beast: specific oil weights, SAP values, water discounts, oil swaps, resizing recipes, and all the places where “close enough” gets real expensive. ⚖️🥥🫒
