Well....I have good news and I have bad news.....
The good news is....I am currently set up for sharpening, at the house, for mail ins, and drop offs!!
The bad news, mainly for my mobile route customers, is that I will not be back on the road for at least another month, that's IF, the insurance company wants to pay to have it fixed. If they do not, then I'll be in the search for another vehicle. Either way, I will be down at least a month if not longer.

I may be able to do a pick up, and drop off the next day or following day, here in a couple of weeks, as my wife's bus is broke down, and our Daily driver is also in the shop at this time. Once we can get above water, lol, I'll see what I can do, for all of my customers that have been waiting for me, and that's a lot, as I'm typically booked 8 weeks out, all year around😬😬

Thank you all for your support and kind words, and yes, I'm glad that I didn't get hurt, but I'm really mad that my bus is broken😑😑😂

Please feel free to reach out if you want to mail things out, or drop things off, and I can let you know how to do that, thank you all again!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️

As some of you may, or may not know, I did get into an accident on Tuesday morning. I am fine, my sharpening bus, however, not so much!! As of right now, all of my scheduled mobile stops are on hold. I'm hoping to have an area to sharpen, here by next week, but that will only be for mail ins, and drop offs. It may be possible that in a couple of weeks, I might be able to do a pick up and drop off type of service, but that willbe determined at a later time. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience to everyone, but I'll try and be back up and running as soon as I can!! Thank you all again for your support over the years❤️❤️❤️

Welllllll, I had to get towed home again last night, from Dewitt...... so if you had an upcoming mobile appointment, it may be delayed..... AGAIN.....I am so sorry for the inconvenience, I do think I have another vehicle lined up, but it will take a bit to get it built out. I am shutdown from the 25th-5th, but for those of you that I was scheduled to come out this week and next, I may have to reschedule until January, unless i can get something temporarily going this weekend. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 hoping I can get something going this weekend!! I'll keep you posted, and thanks again for your understanding!!!

Yayyyyyyy!!!! Finally some good news!!!! We got the truck back up and running, and I'm currently reaching out to people to stay rescheduling everyone!!! Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this inconvenient timing for my rig to break down!!! A special thanks to my son, Alex, for working on my truck, in his driveway, in the cold, and almost everynight after work, and most every weekend, for the last 3 weeks!!! I am thankful that I was still able to do mail ins and drop offs!!! Ok, enough rambling, now to stay scheduling!! Talk to you all real soon!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️🚌🚌

Just a quick update.....I think we finally have the problem with my truck figured out, but, unfortunately, it will be another week before we can get it running though, as we're waiting on the parts to arrive.
I am sooooooo so sorry for the inconvenience to my customers, as I know this is your busy session and you really need Sharp equipment right now!! Thank you so much to the customers that have opted to drive their things to me to have them sharpened!!! I know a lot of you are waiting for your next appointment, and others are waiting for a makeup appointment. I promise that as soon as I know that is have a good running truck, i will be reaching out and rescheduling everyone!!! If this last repair doesn't work, then you'll be seeing me in a new dog!!! Fingers crossed, we'll be back up and running by next week!!!🤞🏾☺️🚌

Unfortunately, when you are a mobile service, sometimes you don't always makes it to your next stop!!! Hopefully I won't be down for too long, as my son is already working on the repairs!! Just be aware, if you have sent things in for sharpening, I'm still working on them, but it may take a tad longer than normal. In between running for parts and helping my son wrench, I'm working on the boxes in between!!! If you were planning on sending things in, please wait just a bit, until I can get my rig back on the road!! Thank you again for all your understanding and patience!!♥️🙏🏾✂️

How cool is this story!!!! It's not very often, that we know the back story on some of the things that come across the work bench😊😊
I am kind of glad, that I didn't know the story at the time, because I probably would have been very apprehensive to touch these little scissors!! It did all turn out well though, and thank you so much Helen, for trusting me with your Great, Great, Aunty's scissors!!😊

Hi Dave! I don’t know if you remember how you rescued this pair of family heirloom scissors for me, but I’m still so grateful for your excellent work! I keep them by my table where I’m weaving and use them to snip my yarn. They belonged to great-great aunt Phebe, whose brother A. B. Willson was one of the inventors of the sewing machine. She never married, but would have used an excellent Wheeler and Wilson sewing machine to support herself as a seamstress. It’s amazing she didn’t wear these little scissors down to stumps! Thank you again, Dave! And best wishes.

Yes, gr.gr. Aunt Phebe lived from 1826 to 1907. These little scissors are 120+ years old! I had a nightmare last night that I pressed down on them and snapped a blade off - I was so upset in my dream! What a relief to wake up 🙃

As many of you know, I usually try to make it to one, or two, training seminars a year!! Well, the first one is coming up, so, if you were planning on mailing things out to get sharpened, and you have not sent them out yet, I would kindly ask that you wait until the week of May 5th😊 I will be back to work then, and ready to get back into the groove of things!! Thank you all so much for your continued support and business!!!

Hello!!!

I’m Dalis, David’s wife, and I just thought his customers would like to see the other side of David’s work load…which is ME! Lol!

David is super busy now running his sharpening business but some of you may not know that before David was a sharpener, he helped me in the grooming salon bathing and drying dogs. Today he got out early and I was behind in grooming so he rushed over to help me out 😍

So yes, he feels all of our groomers pains and knows exactly the work we put into each and every day. It’s nice to know that your sharpener knows exactly what a groomer goes through in a day and why your equipment gets beat up so badly!

Ps. AND the most asked question I get by everyone is “do you always have sharp equipment?” What do you all think? 🤔

Pps. He’s pretty easy on the eyes too 😍

Thanks honey for coming and helping me through the giant hump in my day 😘
