Our Story: Humble Beginnings

Today marks 3 beautiful years in Woodbury.❤️ It’s hard to believe how far this journey has come. It began in September 2019, in a small cozy salon in St. Paul—with a simple dream: to create a space where people could feel seen, cared for, and truly beautiful.

Not long after opening, the world shifted. The pandemic changed everything, and the heartache and unrest in the Twin Cities regarding George Floyd followed brought even more uncertainty. Through it all, the salon stood strong. It became more than a place for hair—it became a space of comfort, healing, and connection when people needed it most.

Two years in, the little space that held so many stories and transformations became too small. The vision had grown. The dream had expanded. And so, the search for a new home began—something closer to where the heart already lived: right here in Woodbury.

That search led to a familiar neighborhood salon—the former Ficocello’s—which was lovingly reimagined and brought back to life. In August 2022, the doors opened once again, this time as Signature Salon of Woodbury.

This vision was born from a desire to bring modern trends, techniques, and inner-city style to the heart of Woodbury. Built with love, resilience, and purpose, every detail reflects our belief that beauty is more than skin deep—it’s about how you feel when you walk out the door. We truly believe that beauty has become more than just an exterior thing—it’s connected to mental and inner health, and overall wellness. When you look good, you feel good, and that feeling is so important to your overall well-being. Today, that belief remains at the core of everything we do.
