The outermost kosha is called Annamaya – which translates to “food body,” or physical body. At Annamaya Love, we create products that provide nourishment and love to your Annamaya kosha. According to the yogic text the Taittiriya Upanishad, “those who care for this body are nourished by the universe itself” (Yoga International). The Love…In Sanskrit, the word “sneha” means love, tenderness, oiliness! These qualities are infused into all our products – via ghee, essential oils, and nourishing base oils that have been tenderly created with love and healing mantras. Our logo is inspired by the yantra for the goddess Bhuvaneshwari and the pine tree. The pine is a symbol of long life, strength in adversity and steadfastness unaffected by the blows of nature. Creatures find comfort in the tree’s motherly branches and all five elements are represented in the tree.
