I met another one of my brides today who never once mentioned that she’s a hairstylist in our preliminary conversations!
I’m not gonna lie, that definitely turns up the pressure for me 🔥
But I also will just never get over the fact that a wedding photographer, planner, makeup artist, but ESPECIALLY another hairstylist, chose me to style them for the most important day of their life.
If you’re a wedding pro and another vendor chose you for their wedding, send them this to show your gratitude 🤍

I get that some brides don’t actually care.
That will never stop me from running everything past her.
Ima do my due diligence every time. No way will there be a completely avoidable mishap because of me.
I get it- what’s trending is what’s trending. 9 times out of 10 they had no idea they chose what the bride was doing; they just wanted the elegant updo that everyone wants right now! And most clients are completely fine choosing a different style.
Be like those clients.
Don’t be the 1 out of 10 ;)
*also to clarify, none of the bridesmaids today were fibbers and all had the best of intentions 🫶

When I tell you I have never been so moved by a wedding gallery as I was with this one 🤌
If you saw my story about accidentally saving 93 photos from a wedding, this would be the wedding in question.
Other than the fact that I was obsessed with the hairstyle she chose (no extensions, btw. That’s all growing out of her own hair follicles), I know exactly why I was compelled to hit ♥️ on so many photos.
Their range of emotions truly made me feel like I was there. For not being present at the actual wedding, the way expertly captured their moments sure made me feel like I was.
Let ALL the emotions come. Wear them proudly. Confidently decide you care more about how your photos feel than how they look (and spoiler alert: that + a stellar photographer are the secret sauce to making them look good).

I see too many email inquiries/posts on message boards that are so incredibly vague in their search for vendors. Then they receive 65+ responses from vendors who may or may not even fit what they’re looking for.
Your time is valuable and you only get to be in your engagement era once! Make the process actually enjoyable and utilize these tips in your vendor search.
