Texture: the shampoo bar has a marbled look and lathers up more since it’s built to cleanse. The conditioner bar glides on smoother with no bubbles.

Shape: conditioner bars have a rounded indent on the bottom, shampoo bars sit flat.

Bottom line — more lather, flat bottom, “S” stamp = shampoo. Rounded indent bottom, “C” stamp = conditioner.
