Hello!

I promised you I would keep you informed of any news and I have some rather big news. I've decided to close my studio and be finished with cosmetology. The insane financial fallout from this year has just been too much for me. I'm so tired, it has been extremely stressful. Although I really hate letting people down, I cannot continue to put myself on the backburner anymore. I'm at a point where I really think the only part I am going to miss is all of the wonderful people who have sat in my chair over the past several years. The job part has become increasingly difficult due to AI, filters, tick tock, soaring operating costs and sometimes expectations that are just too high (both on my end and sometimes the client's end). I am so, so sorry to bail on you. I didn't make this decision lightly, it was a long process to get here.

My final week open will be November 18th - 23rd. I wish I had someone amazing to refer you to- unfortunately almost all of my stylist friends in the metro who once did hair (and were awesome at it) have given it up too. It's a career you HAVE to love to stick with it for decades and though I have loved it, it has been really hard as of late and I don't see it turning around.

I wanted to also say that I am so grateful to you for your loyalty (many of you, your years and years of loyalty). I appreciated all you have done to try to keep me afloat. Please do not feel like it fell on deaf ears because it did not. I will miss you very much.

If you would like to get in one more time, I definitely recommend scheduling something sooner than later. I will do my best to open up a little more schedule as the closing date gets closer if necessary and as I am able to. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have a question or need help scheduling.

I sure will miss seeing your smiling face! I know in my heart though that this is the right move for me. Burnout is hard, years long burnout is exhausting.

Friendly reminder that Thanksgiving is 5 weeks from today. Make sure to get your appointment scheduled if you are planning to be in town for a few days from school, seeing family or if it's just time for your regular cut or color touch up.
Scheduling early ensures you have a better chance of getting the day and time that works best for your busy schedule!
