So I've lost 10 pounds since October just by running 3 to 6 miles a week, with some weeks off because of sickness. My back doesn't hurt anymore and my stomach isn't so much in my way anymore. Just a friendly reminder that sometimes losing some weight and exercising will help with all that body/ muscle misery! I still got about 40 more pounds to get to my ideal weight, but I'm not too worried about that. I just want to feel better and not yearn for massage so much, lol.

Over the decade I've been practicing, I've seen only a handful of children athletes and that's not a lot. Children are definitely very durable and heal fast, but they need more. If you have your child participating in strenuous physical activity, please help them prevent injuries that will affect them for the rest of their lives. If they receive or develop an injury, address it diligently. As parents of these children, you can massage them, you can make it normal, and they can go into adulthood knowing it's okay to get muscle and body work :)

So sometimes, when you dont preserve and take care of yourself, and really neglect basic care, you get hurt. I am currently resting and recovering from a few things that have happened to my body the past few months from overworking in every way possible.
