Not my usual post, but couldn’t help but share. Johanna hasn’t had her hair lightened in almost a year and the grow out had us both like 🤯. A fresh gloss and haircut had it looking brand new. Crazy how much that can do for a quick appointment.

One of my favorite services by far - and absolutely not just for blondes! A gloss can be as simple as clear, just to add shine and reseal the cuticles of your hair to make it sleek again. Or add some tone to brighten it, darken it, cool it down or warm it up. (Or if you’re feeling spicy-a hint of pink or copper 🤪)

Also a great maintenance option in between services to keep you feelin fresh!

Thankful as heck to be entering a new year with these two by my side everyday! The transition into the new space has been so incredible, and has exceeded any expectations I had. The universe knew what it was doing with this one, I’ve never felt more at home. 🫶🏻

2024, I’m coming for you 😈

I am moving!! My chapter at Hair Ink Studio after 3 and a half years is coming to a close, and it’s bittersweet to say the least. I have nothing but gratitude for Sola for providing me with a great experience and space to learn and grow myself as a person and hairstylist. The freedom to express myself and my individuality has been life changing and something I will take with me moving forward in my career. So cheers to 3 wonderful years with SO many friendships that will last a lifetime, and memories I will hold very close to my heart! ❤️
That being said, I am moving just about 2 blocks away 😂 because Saint Paul has my heart. My new salon will be a great mix of independence and community, with my bestieeee (.b.chambers) and my sweet friend . This will be a fun and creative space for everyone to come together between stylists, clients and friends. I am genuinely so freaking excited to work alongside these two people (again), some of you may remember them from my previous salon! And most of you likely recognize Natalie’s name from many of my stories, one being the tragic incident of a broken elbow and a music festival in Texas 😂
These people inspire me, make me laugh l and fill my cup so much. My heart is full and I am very ready for this change. 💕
My first day will be November 7th, 2023🫶🏼

I don’t do a ton of wedding hair, but when I do I save it for special occasions. This one topped it all for me. .sette has been a part of my life since we were babies, our parents have been best friends since before we were born. Playing dress up as little girls to the real deal at her own wedding is so surreal, and I’m thankful for my job to allow me these opportunities 💕
Kaitlin made the most beautiful angel of a bride, it couldn’t have been a more magical day! Thank you for letting me play a role in it. 🩷
