This week I’m attending the Allergan Surgical Solutions Symposium in Las Vegas — a meeting dedicated to advancing the care of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery patients.

It’s both affirming and inspiring to connect with colleagues, refine techniques, and gain new insights that enhance the care we provide every day. Proud to be here alongside two of my partners, continuing our shared pursuit of surgical excellence and optimal patient outcomes.

🏃‍♂️ This morning I ran The Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Half Marathon.
Running has become one of my favorite ways to challenge myself outside the OR — it’s where discipline, endurance, and focus come together.

After months of training, I crossed the finish line with a time of 1:44:27. Not a new PR, but a result I’m proud of. Every mile reminds me that progress isn’t always about perfection — it’s about consistency and commitment.

Here’s to setting new goals and enjoying the journey along the way.

This weekend, I’m attending Plastic Surgery The Meeting — the premier educational event hosted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

It’s always inspiring to collaborate with colleagues from across the country and learn from leading innovators in our field. The sessions cover the full spectrum of plastic surgery — from reconstructive advances and microsurgery to aesthetic trends in facial, breast, and body contouring.

Continuing education and connection are what keep our specialty evolving — ensuring that every patient benefits from the latest science, refined techniques, and artistic precision.

And of course, no trip to New Orleans is complete without taking in the energy of Bourbon Street and joining the Close the Loop 5K, supporting breast cancer awareness and reconstruction.
