POSTAURICULAR FACELIFT SCAR CAMOUFLAGE ✨

The incision behind the ear after a facelift is known as the postauricular incision, and this area can sometimes heal with hypopigmentation, leaving a lighter line that contrasts with the surrounding skin.

Scar camouflage tattooing can help soften the appearance of these lighter scars by gradually blending pigment into the surrounding skin tone.

For many clients, treatment in this area is very tolerable. I always work according to your comfort level, and if we need to stop or take breaks, we stop.

Facelift scars—whether they are in front of the ear, around the earlobe, behind the ear, or extending toward the hairline—often require multiple sessions. I prefer to build the color gradually rather than trying to create the final color in one appointment.

As the area heals, I evaluate how the pigment settles and adjust the color from session to session when necessary. Layering and refining the pigment is an important part of creating a soft, natural-looking blend with the surrounding skin.

PLAN YOUR APPOINTMENTS 📅
Because temporary redness can occur after treatment, I recommend scheduling scar camouflage around important events and hair appointments. Makeup should also be avoided directly over the freshly treated area during the initial healing period and according to your aftercare instructions.

Scar camouflage can be an excellent option for improving the appearance of healed hypopigmented facelift scars.

This is intentionally small, intensive, hands-on training — limited to only two practitioners. You’re not sitting in a large classroom watching demonstrations. You’re learning technique, color theory, scar assessment, pigment selection, placement, and restorative tattoo artistry while working with real cases.

Training may include procedures such as 3D ar**la restoration, scar camouflage, hypopigmented scars, facelift and ear scars, tummy tuck scars, breast lift scars, brachioplasty scars, belly button restoration, stretch marks, red and purple scar neutralization, and other corrective medical tattoo applications.

I’ve completed 100+ documented cases, and one of the biggest things I teach is that every scar and every skin tone is different. Medical tattooing is not simply choosing a “skin-colored” pigment. It takes an understanding of undertones, healing, scar tissue, color correction, layering, and knowing when not to tattoo.

You’ll learn the thought process behind the work—not just how to operate a machine.
