not a lived in color for once 🍒.
a hot take : a root melt isn’t what makes color look lived in.
placement does.
12 weeks grown out
no root tap
no shadow root
sometimes i don’t want the blur.
sometimes i want brightness that still grows out naturally without looking stripey, harsh, or thirsty three shampoos later.
this is your reminder that soft dimension + clean blonding will almost always outlast trendy overtoning.
good color should age well.

the best blondes usually aren’t the brightest ones.
they’re the ones with enough depth, softness, and balance to still look expensive weeks later.
i’d rather give you color that works with your real life than hair that only looks good for 12 business days.
it’s for the girlies who want brightness without the upkeep.
low-maintenance blonding + dimensional color

a lot of blondes look bright… but not blended.
and that’s the difference.
because if your color isn’t intentionally melted,
it’s going to sit on top of the hair instead of living in it.
so when it grows out?
it separates. it gets stripey. it loses that softness fast.
what i focus on every single time:
• diffused roots (no harsh lines)
• dimension that moves with the hair
• tones that stay expensive, not loud
• blends so seamless you can’t find where it starts
bright is easy.
soft, natural, and lived-in on purpose… that’s the work.

i’ve been bored as hell with content lately. still shooting a ton, just not posting everything because there’s so much noise and i’m not trying to add to it just to stay consistent. trying to be a little more intentional with what actually makes it on here. this one felt worth sharing.
so here ya go. 😇

this isn’t really my usual haircut situation but i had fun with it. we took the color a little darker with more red through it and added layers for that soft, 90s kind of movement that just makes everything feel cooler.
now I need to take some cutting classes this year incase you ask for this cut.
please don’t.
but also maybe do.

i do enjoy a straight to the dome highlight.
but the real test is 15 weeks later. when the grow out stays soft and the blonde still works. i’m always thinking about the grow out, not just the end result.
my clients usually find they can go longer between appointments than they expect… but let’s not get too ambitious. i still want to see you.
book before your hair starts to miss me.

6 months grow out to fresh color into- a modern…. Ombré??
we used to make Kelly pretty blonde the last year or so but she hasn’t seen me in a hot second. She was able to see more of she natural and wanted to embrace it and make it more beachy and a ombré vibes but without the long ass root.
more of this please so I can play around!
