It’s been a long time since I’ve posted… Please forgive me. Like everyone there’s been so much happening and time is rolling by like a fervent wave!! i’ve been working hard helping my beautiful client friends feel even more beautiful and radiant!
Happy Summer Solstice … the longest day and the shortest night of the year, when the Earth reaches its maximum tilt toward the sun. I did so well with my kimonos that were made from my paintings. I have one print available. It is a bit more dressy and a little longer.

Creating another handmade candle for the studio. Usually I use “Love Letter”, which is my signature scent. However, this time I’m using frankincense and myrrh. What a beautiful blend this is! Soy wax is superior for many reasons, for our health and for the environment.(see post for details)

Well, I’m just going to say it.… I have been on a healing journey where I have taken chemicals out of my life. When you become aware of the many chemicals in absolutely everything, it’s crazy how these chemicals begin to add up! I truly believe this is why we have so much sickness. When you really commit to this, you become aware of the seduction in our food labels, things masked by a name that sounds somewhat fine but really ends up being pretty dangerous.
I am 58 and I’ve leaned into more of a clean and natural diet. I’ve taken alcohol out of the equation and I haven’t even had Botox in nearly 2 years. I have learned to adore my lines, my expression lines, my battle scars. I’m leaning into more of a graceful aging experience and I’ll tell you ~All brain fog is gone, and I can’t believe the amount of mental clarity That I have now.

I share this story, reluctantly, especially because I am an aesthetician. I’m a firm believer that we should be fiercely good to ourselves! I’ve also worked hard on doing things from the heart and I’ve had to work very hard on people pleasing tendencies. Living more of a natural life I believe brings longevity and more of a warrior strength immune system and nervous system. Both of those are our lifeline.
