It's Black History Month, an honorary time period dedicated to the acknowledgement of the many contributions Black men and women have made not only to our country, but to society as a whole. This is an occasion that was once shortened to a week, and has evolved to become one of the most commemorable months honored in the U.S. and other regions. It's obvious that a single week cannot even begin to cover the myriad of accomplishments Black intellects have made. Particularly, skin care is a luxury in which many of us partake, but a topic on which not enough of us are educated. In addition to the plethora of African American regimens recognized over time, many of the traditions we use have deep ancestral roots in several areas.
