I am conveniently located , right off the Interstate , at the 22nd Ave North exit . I am also very accommodating to clients who have tight schedules and have limited times , to come in for a haircut . 35 years cutting hair ….. where did the time go ? Today my Dad would have been 91 . As I start rehearsals for Prince today , I was thinking about how my Dad took me to my 1st Community Theater audition , which was for West Side Story . I was a chubby , young teenager . My singing Audition went horrible and I wanted to leave right after I got off the stage . I was horrified and ashamed . My Dad was the one who convinced me to stay as they were announcing callbacks the end of the night and you HAD to be present , or you LOST your chance at a role …… Thankfully , he believed I stood a chance and we stayed and I got cast as one of the Jets ….. That opportunity changed my life …. My Dad was the one who took me to and from all my rehearsals and sat and waited for me …. I ended up doing 4 musicals …. When I get around to it , I’ll pull out some memorabilia to share . My Dad was one of the Good Ones and I was Very Blessed !!
