Putting feelers out for a Fall session of Herb Camp for kids specially designed for homeschooled kids ages 6 to 11. Herb Camp for Kids

10 am to 12 pm 2 weeks $60 ages 6 to 11.

Herb Camp is a fun time to get together outside with the plants. We will play games, learn about herbal medicine and first aid, we will make a plant journal and learn about the plants in our area. We will make an herbal preparation or craft, which they will get to take home.

We will explore heavy garden areas, light wooded areas and field areas. We have a few ponds but won't be going near them. If there is mud it will be from the rain and barn, duck areas. Mud boots are helpful on our property. also socks and boots help keep ants off little toes.

We do have a lot of poultry. And a few dogs.

Class held outside dress appropriate to the weather. Sturdy woods worthy shoes and pants necessary. May want to bring Mud boots and a hat.

I case of storming weather we will be indoors making herbal preparations in the kitchen.
