New 5.0-star Review: "I've been going to DBK Hair Studio for about two years now, and I absolutely love getting my hair done there. I first started coloring my hair years ago when I lived in Philly, and I tried three different salons up there, but DBK has had the best services hands down.The staff are a huge part of what make DBK so amazing. From Robin at the front desk, who is so friendly when she greets me each time I come in and makes scheduling and payment super efficient at the end of each appointment, to Doug the salon's owner, who is the heart and soul of DBK and has done a great job making the salon feel like a community, to Kelsey, my fabulous stylist, who gets my hair right each and every time I see her.I truly could go on about Kelsey forever! I've made appointments with her for haircuts, highlights, waxing, and my usual gloss that I get. No matter what service I go in for, I don't think I've ever sat in her chair for longer than 3 hours, though she's the best so I wish I could stay and chat with her all day! Some of the previous salons I've visited had me there for 6+ hours, so I love that I can get my hair done at DBK and still have time to enjoy the rest of my day. Despite the shorter length, my appointments never feel rushed. Kelsey always takes the time to go over what I want to do to my hair, including looking at any inspiration pictures I have, and explains each step of her process. She's also great at answering questions I have about the techniques or products she uses on my hair, and has recommended some amazing products to me that I've been using for months!While I think Kelsey is perfect at everything she does, I do appreciate how she has continuously increased her education as a stylist. In the two years I've been seeing her, she's gone to countless classes and seminars, both here in Florida and throughout the U.S., and she comes back with new knowledge that she can then implement at my next appointment.DBK is a really special salon with a passionate, experienced staff, and I look forward to each appointment I have there.
