I’m honored to share that I’ve received a Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing from the Journal of Advances in Medicine and Medical Research in recognition of contributions to the peer-review process.

Serving as a peer reviewer remains one of the most meaningful ways to contribute to the advancement of our field by supporting rigorous scholarship, upholding ethical standards, and disseminating high-quality research. It’s always rewarding to play a role in shaping work that can ultimately impact both academic discourse and real-world practice.

As a scholar-practitioner, I value opportunities like this that allow me to stay actively engaged in research while continuing to teach, supervise, and practice in the field.

Also… small but important note: apparently my contributions were so impactful they earned me an extra “s” in my name on the certificate (Dr. Jason R. Klosss). I’ll take it as a bonus credential.
Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to continuing this work.

I received confirmation of my latest publication. The publisher contacted me to update a previous journal publication for relevance today. With the continued passage of conscience clause legislation potentially limiting access to mental health services by members of the LGBTQ+ community in the United States, research shows hope that professional organizations & a significant number of licensed counselors oppose these laws in favor of ethical compliance in practice, social Justice, advocacy, & multiculturalism.

Yes, it will most likely be banned in Florida. LoI
