OKAYYYYY… can we talk about this transformation?!🥰🤌

The blonde is the BEFORE and this rich, dimensional brunette with all those beautiful layers and natural curls is the AFTER.
And babiiiiiiiii… she is GLOWING!
Her skin tone, her eyes, those curls—everything came alive with this color!🔥

She brought me 3️⃣ inspiration pictures, each with something different she loved. Sooooo, I combined all three ideas, created a custom color just for her, and understood the assignment! Lolllll 😂👏

For my stylist friends, I mixed 5.45 + 5N in equal portions with 20 volume and processed for 30 minutes—and the richness and shine are absolutely EVERYTHING🤎

What makes this transformation even more special is the beautiful woman underneath the hair. We met about a year ago as neighbor/stylist/client, but somewhere along the way she became my friend. 🥹 She gives me free rein over her hair, trusts my vision, and lets me create—and I’m so thankful she does because LOOK what we created together!

She was completely in love with it, and honestly, so was I🥰

Yes, my hands created this color—but the talent, creativity, and ability behind those hands came from God. So every compliment and every bit of glory goes right back to Him🙌

Trust the process, trust your stylist…and when God gives you a gift, USE IT! 💛✂️

She didn’t need a whole new color—she just needed the rest of her balayage story finished🤎✨

She already loved the color on top, but she wanted that same beautiful dimension carried through the back and underneath. Because she previously had red in her hair, getting here required patience, proper timing, and an educated approach to color. My fellow colorists already know… red pigment does not leave quietly😂🤣🤦‍♀️

So we respected the history of her hair, preserved what she already loved, and added strategically placed balayage throughout the areas that were missing that pop.

And now? She officially has the full balayage look—soft, blended, dimensional, and absolutely beautiful from every angle😍

But the sweetest part of today wasn’t just her hair. She told me that one of the reasons she chose to sit in my chair was because I’m a Christian🥹 That meant more to me than she probably realized. I’ve prayed for God to use my gifts and make my chair a place where women feel safe, seen, and cared for—and moments like this remind me that He is doing exactly that.

Sometimes it isn’t about changing everything. Sometimes it’s simply about trusting the process, honoring the timing, and finishing what was already beautifully started.

Sometimes the most beautiful transformations aren’t about becoming someone completely different…

They’re about uncovering the beauty that was there all along🤍

This beautiful young woman has walked through some hard seasons. Her story is hers to tell, so I won’t tell it for her—but I will say this:

I am SO proud of the woman sitting in my chair today.

She’s rebuilding.
She’s growing..
She’s choosing a different path…
And she’s becoming✨

Today we didn’t completely change who she was.

We removed what was weighing her down, brought life back into her hair, and reminded her of the beauty that was already there.

And isn’t that so much like what God does with us?

He doesn’t look at our past and decide we’re ruined.
He restores.
He renews.
He makes beauty from the places we thought were too broken.

THIS is why what happens behind my chair will always mean more to me than just hair.

Sometimes it’s color.
Sometimes it’s a haircut.
Sometimes it’s a fresh start.

And sometimes… it’s watching a woman begin to see HER again🥹✨
