Here’s the breakdown:

✨ Full sets: Plan for about 2–3 hours. This gives me the time I need to properly customize your set and make sure every lash is placed with care.

✨ Regular fills: 60 minutes

✨ Extended fills: 90 minutes

My fill appointments are based on time, not just how many lashes you have left. This allows me to work with what you’re coming in with and get your lashes looking full, clean, and refreshed.

YES, buildup can affect retention ✅

But honestly? I’m MUCH more concerned about what buildup can do to your natural lashes and lash line before it ever becomes a retention issue.

Your natural lashes have their own growth cycle, and excessive buildup around the lash line can contribute to irritation and accelerated shedding.

And when there’s a lot of oil, dead skin, and buildup sitting around the lash follicles, that can create an environment where your lash line becomes irritated, red, flaky, or watery.

So when I tell you to wash your extensions DAILY, I’m not just trying to sell you lash shampoo.

I’m trying to protect the lashes underneath your extensions. 🤍

Clean lashes = healthier lash line = better environment for your extensions.

Let’s clear up one of the biggest lash myths.

That advice comes from older lash adhesives that took much longer to cure. Today’s professional adhesives cure much faster because they react with the moisture in the air, not by “drying” like nail polish.

That means if your lashes were applied properly with a high-quality adhesive under the right conditions, you can wash your face, shower, and get your lashes wet without hurting your retention.

In fact, clean lashes = better retention. Keeping your lash line free of oils, makeup, dirt, and buildup helps your extensions last longer and keeps your natural lashes healthier.

The 24-hour rule isn’t the industry standard anymore, it’s outdated information.

The best thing you can do after your appointment? Enjoy your lashes… and keep them clean. 🫧
