I made this little snippet with the intention of showing off a beautifully blended, lived-in blonde… and instead, I got a lesson (my favorite kind 😉).
The beginning of this video shows her true color — a soft, gorgeous vanilla blonde. As I move closer to that sun-kissed window, you can literally watch the tone shift into a buttery, golden blonde. Still stunning… but different… and not the true tone.

This girl has some HISTORY. If hair could talk it would tell the tale of the back and forth see-saw ride between dark and light. Always turning away and going back to black after getting stuck in the brassy stage. Well, now we’re on a new and SLOW ride to the next chapter in her balayage tale. NO ORANGE IN SIGHT! Can’t wait to post this journey 💕
