So you just got highlights, now what?
First up: shampoo and conditioner. I recommend a purple shampoo to be used every 2-3 washes (or whenever you are feeling too brassy) and a hydrating conditioner after. A deep conditioner once a month certainly wouldn't hurt, either!
Next, styling! ALWAYS use a heat protectant on blondes! Not only are you risking further damage not using a heat protectant, but you are also stripping the toner out super fast! The toner is what gives you the blonde you want, so you want to keep that in!
Finally... sleeping. I usually tell people to braid their hair before going to bed, especially if they have longer hair, as this helps keep the hair from tangling and you are less stressed in the morning! Regardless of hair length, I love using a silk pillowcase to allow my hair to slide along the fibers, rather than catching on rougher fabrics and causing stress on the hair!
