This is what recharging looks like for me. A weekend in Las Vegas, incredible food, beautiful moments with friends, and finally seeing Olivia Dean live.
What a dream. She was effortlessly elegant, her voice was mesmerizing, and she commanded the stage with so much grace. A true performer in every sense of the word. And her band? Absolutely magnificent. Every musician was exceptional, making the entire evening unforgettable.

One year ago, one of my biggest dreams became reality.
At the time, I was still in my 30s—a mom of three, a salon owner of 17 years, the owner of a restaurant and bar, and somehow, I took the leap and bought a commercial building.
The grit it took to get here can’t truly be explained. There were sacrifices, long days, sleepless nights, and moments of wondering if it would all work out. None of this would have been possible without the incredible people who believed in me, supported me, encouraged me, and showed up every step of the way. I’ll never be able to thank you enough.
You know you’ve built something special when people are genuinely excited to celebrate your success alongside you. That kind of support is priceless.
It’s been a full year, and honestly… I still haven’t really celebrated or even allowed it to fully sink in. I’ve always been the person who’s already dreaming about the next goal before I’ve stopped to appreciate the last one. Maybe it’s time I do.
Here’s to one year of Havana’s transformation, one year of believing that impossible dreams are worth chasing, and one year of proving that hard work, persistence, and a little faith can completely change your life.
