Before you dive in… 🏖️ Do your extensions a solid and follow these guidelines: - Make sure to wet your extensions in the shower/sink - Apply a good leave-in conditioner or mask - Secure your hair in two bubble braids - Avoid all sunscreens containing avobenzone - After swimming, immediately rinse your hair in clean water if you can’t shower right away, and follow up with a hair mask when you shampoo. Keep that hair looking gorgeous all summer long and protect your investment😘

There’s no express at IBE® With hair health being the number one priority of Invisible Bead Extensions®, we only want the best for your hair. And unfortunately express will never be best in this case. At an IBE® reinstall appointment wefts are completely removed. Beads are taken out and shed is released. Placement and scalp are assessed to see if any changes need to be made. Fresh sectioning is done and NEW beads are placed. Wefts are sewn back into place and you are good to go for another 7-10 weeks. The health of your hair cannot be ensured without going through all of these steps. IBE® started the healthy extension movement in 2019 and are still going strong!

THIS IS YOUR DAILY REMINDER 🚨 Educating your clients ahead of their holidays is key at this time of year for hair extension maintenance! That is why we’ve had to reshare this incredible video from @kaila.blades.styling again as she shows what happens with suncream is applied or touched on hair extensions 🤯 Suncream could also be staining your clients hair extensions!!Especially for blonde hair extensions which is particularly susceptible to discolouration! 👀 Suncream can turn them pink or orange in patches at the ends & darker coloured hair may notice a slight change in colour 🫢 Why? Essentially the colour change is a result of a chemical reaction 🧪 The two ingredients to watch out for are: 1️⃣ Avebenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) which is an oil-soluble ingredient used in sunscreen products to absorb the full spectrum of UVA rays. 
2️⃣ Octocrylene, which is added as a stabiliser as the Avebenzone degrades in light. Together they are found in differing quantities in sun protection.
