Unbelievably grateful ❤️

2 years ago today my first client sat in my salon in my own salon chair. The salon was still under construction and I hadn’t even taken the packaging off of my mirror. That client was my mom so none of that mattered. My official opening date was still months away. I was thankful then but had no idea how that would grow. I am thankful for so many people who have made this dream a reality. My mentor and stylist who asked me point blank “Why not?” when I told her I was considering cosmetology school at 42. And then had the mature leadership to continue to mentor and encourage me along the way. My Mamaw who taught me very early the love of all things salon. My Mom for her unflinching trust in my abilities. My hubby and kids who without them I could have never accomplished going to school in my 40’s. And my clients who continue to support and trust me. I am wildly thankful I get to do what I love. I simply love doing hair. ❤️
