A haircut is so much more than hair.

Today, this sweet client sat in my chair wanting a look that finally felt like her. This haircut marks her official coming out, and she wanted it to represent this new chapter of living authentically and unapologetically.

At her request, we shaved one side and left the other longer, creating a style that feels bold, soft, and uniquely her.

When she looked in the mirror, she was absolutely ecstatic.

Moments like these are why I love what I do. Hair has the power to help people see themselves, express themselves, and walk a little taller in who they are.

Every person is unique. Every story is different. And being trusted with moments like this will never stop feeling like an honor.

These two special ladies have been with me since the very beginning of cosmetology school.

Every six weeks, they drive over an hour to sit in my chair for their cut and color appointments, and I never take that for granted.

Most of the time, I don't double-book. But for family and friends, I make an exception. We do their appointments together, catch up on life, laugh, and turn it into a girls' day instead of another item on the to-do list.

It's become so much more than hair appointments. It's friendship, connection, and time together.

Thank you both for trusting me since day one and for continuing to make the drive every six weeks. You are absolute gems, and I'm so grateful to have you in my chair.
