vivids are such a high maintenance color, y’all. lemme lay it out:
• washing your hair 1-2x a week MAX
• washing your hair in as cold of water as you can (it sucks, but i promise it’s worth it). that hot water will instantly fade your color.
• HEAT PROTECTANT, always heat protectant. (this isn’t exclusive to vivids either, but that’s a ted talk for another day)
• lower them heat settings on your styling tools. you don’t cook chicken at 400°, you shouldn’t be cookin’ your hair at that either.
