Paint by the pool was better than seeing the Mona Lisa.

The teacher arrived “I thought you meant a community pool, not this exclusive oasis” 🌴

Whenever “let that dry for a moment” was stated, Amanda jumped in the pool. 💦

We laughed and were mad at our own handiwork 🌕🧑‍🎨 at the same time. Art 🖼️ looks different to all, thank goodness!

If you have some FOMO, there’s another paint night 8/6…. If you’re still scared of the art, there is a soundbath 7/31, 8/2, 8/20 and you can just lay there in peace ☮️ with pnwpurepetal Crystal from PNWPurePetal will help us relax and no skills required.

A few reminders from your nurse:

💧 Drink water before you feel thirsty. If you’re spending time outside or sweating, plain water may not be enough. Consider adding electrolytes, especially after prolonged heat exposure.

🧢 Wear a hat, seek shade when you can, and take breaks. Even healthy adults can become overheated faster than they expect.

🌡️ Check on children, older adults, neighbors, and pets. They are often affected by extreme heat first.

🚗 Never leave people or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.

⚠️ If you or someone around you develops confusion, dizziness, fainting, persistent vomiting, or stops sweating despite the heat, move to a cool place, begin cooling immediately, and seek medical care.

Stay safe, be kind to your body, and enjoy summer responsibly.
