We had previously lightened her to a silvery color. She had a lot of growth so only her ends were still blonde. We balayaged her blonde back up. With natural black hair, this is the result after 2 lightening sessions. Top is 1st session, bottom two are the 2nd session 😍😍😍

IM MOVING!!

A few months ago I got the news that my building was going up for sale. I decided rather than stick it out with new owners, I would close Salon Bloom. This was a very difficult and sad decision for me. When I started to seek out other locations I was met with large rents or buildings that we need complete remodeling. I also don't want to settle. I have decided to go work in someone else salon for a bit. This decision allows me to save some money and plan for my next step. Rebecca and I will be renting our own room at ⭐️ ALL ABOUT YOU FULL SERVICE BEAUTY SALON AND DAY SPA. LOCATED AT 1200 ELECTRIC ROAD, SALEM, VIRGINIA ⭐️
This location is less than 5 minutes from Salon Bloom. My tentative date is starting in December. I will be reaching out to clients that have an appointment already scheduled with details.
SALON BLOOM is not finished. Its physical location may not exist for awhile but I AM SALON BLOOM. I hope to one day come back. Thank you for an amazing 8 years. My niece Cadence and her boyfriend got matching split dyes. Hot pink and black 🖤🩷

My client is used to having caramel colored highlights but felt they were too close to her skin tone. We added more highlights and toned to a more smokey quartz. This is still a work in progress getting the warmth out of her very dark brown hair. Sometimes when wanting cool tones or a smokey color, we must lighten hair the hair first, then tone down. I frequently get people wanting this but don't want to go "blonde". In order to get these cool shades sometimes we have to go even lighter than usual to get out of the warm undertones. Then we are able to tone down or tone to a cooler color. It's hairstylist magic ✨✨
