I was very fortunate to receive this beautiful buckle that was made by a good friend of mine that passed away. It deserved a beautiful leather baldric to go with it -so I made this.
3” wide and hand tooled. It incorporates a design that my friend used on a baldric he made too.

This hat is inspired by the famous scene from the Pirates Ride where the seagull made a nest on the hat of a dead pirate.
Great hat made by the famous hat maker Jeff McKay of Captain Jacks Pirate hats.

Building myself a new sword baldric. The basic style and size is the typical POTC style with some flair and all hand tooled around the edges. It will be black and have all brass conchos and buckle. Should be done this week.

Decided it be time fer another hat. This one was made by Jeff McKay. He’s a well known hat maker for the Pirate community.

This will have to do until I find the proper time accurate bands and re-paint it that distinct POTC barrel color.

Finally found the right size barrel to hold my swords an’ effects.
Next I’ll remove the metal bands, add wooden ones and paint it to look just like the ones in the ride in Disneyland.
