But, actually, why tease it? I’m TERRIBLE at keeping secrets, anyway. 😅 Apparently, I’ve decided the perfect way to celebrate my favorite season is by poisoning my clients. 🫣 (hear me out…)

And if a couple of those names look a little unfamiliar, there’s a reason for that. I’ve been giving the Solbirde service menu a little extra love behind the scenes—refining some things to make booking simpler and giving a few longtime services names that actually reflect what they’ve grown into.

Because some of these treatments have evolved quite a bit since I first named them. They’ve gotten more intentional, more refined, and a little more Solbirde along the way. It was time their names caught up. Same Solbirde energy. Even better results and relaxation. Names that feel like they finally fit. You’ll start seeing those refinements roll out throughout the menu, but for now…back to the poisoning.

All you have to do is book a qualifying appointment taking place between 10/17 & 10/31 and tell me which poison you’re picking when you arrive, before we begin. Once you choose, I’ll add your poison to your treatment.

That’s it!
No tricks. Just treats.

When I started school for esthetics, I looked around and didn’t see anyone who looked like me. At the time, I had a shaved head—half green, half pink…or whatever color it was that week. 😅 Blue mascara. Too much blush (in the best way). Color was me. I didn’t walk into rooms quietly. And I always felt out of place. I’m heavier set. I’ve always struggled with my skin. I never connected with waxing or lashes the way others did—skin was the only thing that ever really made sense to me.

Back then, I thought that meant something.
That it would be harder for me.
That friendships wouldn’t come easily.
That maybe I was in the wrong place entirely.

So I started shrinking. Toning it down.
Black mascara. Less blush.
Thinking about letting go of the colors that made me feel like me.

But since then, I’ve been through a lot.

April 10th marked one year of being a licensed esthetician. In that time, I’ve navigated some really difficult experiences—moments that tested me, pushed me, and forced me to figure out who I am in this industry on my own terms. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve made messes. I’ve learned more than I ever thought I would.

And I’ve found people. Real people.
This industry, when you find your place in it, connects you in ways you don’t expect. But one of the biggest things? I’ve started to love the person I see in the mirror. On the breakout days. The dry, dull, lifeless days. The days where nothing feels “perfect.” This work—being an esthetician—has changed the way I see myself. And because of that, it’s changed the way I see and care for others. I don’t expect you to look a certain way, or fit into a certain version of beauty. You just have to be YOU.

That’s the space I hold. That’s the care I give.
And these photos—they feel like a reflection of all of that.

Because it’s Earth Month, they were crafted with sustainability in mind; minimizing disposables and reducing single-use waste wherever safely possible. A small but meaningful shift, and a promise I’m carrying forward into the future of Solbirde.

WHAT lives on my shelves at Solbirde?

A question I get all the time is: “What brand do you use?” And the truth is, there isn’t JUST one.

At Solbirde, I don’t believe in committing to a single product line and expecting it to address every skin concern that walks through the door. Skin is nuanced, personal, and constantly changing—and no one brand can be everything for everyone.

Instead, I carefully curate a treatment room toolbox made up of professional lines I trust: formulas that excel in their own way, ingredients that perform beautifully, and products that allow me to build treatments that are truly customized to the person on my table.

Some brands have been with me since the beginning of my esthetics journey. Others are new additions that I’m still exploring and experimenting with. But every product that earns a place on the Solbirde backbar is there intentionally.
