let's talk about retention.

some of these are after 6+ weeks 😅
i definitely don't recommend going that long between appointments. i.e. the break in video 2.

so why do breaks or lifting happen the longer enhancements are on?
it usually has everything to do with the structure being imbalanced and less about the length.
the apex, a small peak that is added between the 1st & 2nd 1/3 of your nail, is no longer providing strength.
the nails may feel strong, but the structure is gone.

nail enhancements are meant to last 3-4 weeks before a fill or rebalance is necessary.

& everyone's nails are SO different.
they grow differently, natural strengths vary, & some people are growing out damage.
so there's the natural state of the nails, now add jobs/hobbies/life style on top.
all of these things will cause retention to vary.

my job is to assess your nails & choose the right products, shape & length that fit you & your life.
sometimes I don't nail it on the first appointment, or even the 2nd.
but your nail health will always come 1st when you're in my chair 🫶🏼
