She then worked on her freelance career in LA for one year after returning home to Utah where she has been for the last 8 years. Denise currently teaches the makeup course at the 3 Taylor Andrew Cosmetology school locations through out Utah. And is head makeup instructor at Avalon School of Cosmetology in Layton, UT and Mesa, AZ. While in her free time does freelance makeup: Bridal, Print, Film, Special FX, Music Videos, Commercials, Fitness, Fitness competitions, Beauty pageants, Headshots, Runway, Lessons, Bo***ir and live performances! Denise has a very extensive resume. Makeup is the best way to express yourself Denise says. Her inspirations either come from plain intuition or everything she sees. She gets inspiration from clothing, people on the street, art, art books, runway shows, Japanese fashion, celebrities, etc. She always walks with her eyes and mind open to new experiences. Denise does love to collaborate with new people and make great photos! 💄 21 YEARS in the beauty industry! 🎉

It’s hard to believe it’s been over two decades since I first picked up a brush. Being a Makeup Artist has allowed me to express creativity, connect with so many amazing people, and be a part of countless special moments — from weddings to photoshoots and everything in between.

Double the celebration!

Zella graduated sixth grade and her 12th birthday!!

In just one year, she’s grown in so many ways- joining her middle school cheer team, tackling challenges, making memories and becoming a confident, kind, and creative young lady. Watching her blow out her birthday candles (on Saturday) filled my heart with pride & gratitude.

To my beautiful daughter, keep shining bright, dreaming big, and being exactly who you are. The world is lucky to have you. ✨💕
