I have been needing to do some advertising on Instagram to bring in some more clients, but I haven’t wanted to interrupt the vastly more important Black Lives Matter Movement. I don’t always know what to say or how to say it but “READ WHITE FRAGILITY BY ROBIN DIANGELO” is my answer to everything. If you are saying to yourself “I don’t need to read that, I’m not racist” (me 3 months ago when I first heard about it), you especially need to read it. No excuses.
I couldn’t post pictures of lashes and brows without addressing this first, and I hope that moving forward my Instagram will be better balanced between social justice issues and my work. Important stuff > my art. Always
