beauty in subtlety 🌱
these tattoos are so gorgeous, and the way they healed is what dreams are made of ✨
fineline tattoos are absolutely for everyone, as long as a consultation happens and expectations are met. my client and i discussed how fineline designs and smaller tattoos sizes don't have as much contrast on darker skin, but that doesn't mean they aren't still beautiful! if you want something that stands out a lot or has a lot of contrast then tattoos like these aren't the best choice for dark skin, but if you like a more dainty tattoo look, then (as evidenced above) these are so beautiful! it's all about personal preference and collaboration with the right artist for those preferences 💖

i had every intention to film the full process of this tattoo, but then i gave up and just locked in on doing the tattoo 🤣 filming is always an extra step that i have to push myself to take, but im trying to be better at capturing content, because there are so many satisfying parts of tattooing to watch!! i know people do enjoy watching it, so i promise i will get all the clips if yall push me to lock in and tell me what you want to see! 🖤🖤🖤

in memory of his grandpa 💛 can't wait to see it healed and settled! it was awesome to step out of my usual box to create this piece, and i look forward to pushing myself and growing more in the future.
