MAJOR Announcement!!!!

This post is a mix of everything. So many things were up in the air and I was waiting for certain things to finalize before I said anything. I also had one person I wanted to tell in person, but since they somehow found out before I got a chance to tell them, I guess it’s time to tell everyone. My daughter and I have joined the Navy. We will be shipping out mid July together. We are really looking forward to this new chapter or our lives. Unfortunately that means I will be hanging up my shears and capes. Initially the reserves where my plan but life comes with difficult decisions and I did not make this decision lightly, it caused me pain and stress, however due to my age, it’s my last shot and I have to take it. I overcame so much that I didn’t think possible, had a great score on my asvab which in less than 3 weeks of studying I had to learn basically highschool math, biology, comprehension. I passed my medical physical which I was so nervous for. Against all odds and my own mental limitations I did it, I pushed my self because I want this so bad. And it showed me that when you want something you can do anything. I will most likely finish out June at the shop which I love dearly, but I have a calling which I can’t deny. To my clients, I’m sorry but I will recommend you a great stylist. I know this is a shock, but please be happy for me and my kid. This may not be your cup of tea or you may not agree with my decision, but I’m enlisted. The deal is done. I just ask for positivity and encouragement. Thank you for all those that have supported me over the years, y’all know I love you all… you are not just clients, you are family to me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
