A fresh shape for a new face 🥰✨

When a client sits down and asks to keep as much length as possible, my goal is always to deliver a reset that respects their vision.

We took off about an inch of worn ends to start a full shape refresh. I added natural long layers and face framing, and adjusted her bangs (she’d been trimming them herself! Not too bad 👏🏼).

Now she’ll leave with healthy movement, fresh shape, and the length she loves! Which is exactly what she asked for! ✂️📐💇🏻‍♀️

During our appointment, she shared special memories about her family. She talked about spending summers with her grandparents, hanging out with cousins, and sitting quietly while her grandma braided her hair. Sweet memories you’d never want to forget. 💭💗

I immediately understood how much her family meant to her and how her long beautiful hair kept her connected to a time she loved so much.

"No one’s ever asked me that.” 😳😱

During our consultation today, I asked my client if she’d like to donate the hair we were cutting off. She immediately said yes—and mentioned it was the first time a stylist had ever asked her!

She cut off about 15 inches of hair that otherwise would have ended up in the trash. 🗑️✂️ Instead, it’s heading to Children With Hair Loss, an incredible organization that provides customized hair replacements to kids at ZERO cost to their families.

In so many ways, this was a haircut to feel good about. Thank you for your generous donation and trusting me with your major cut! 🥹
