Caffeine - avoid caffeine before your appointments I.e coffee, energy drinks, soda, tea, pre workout. (Chocolate also can contain caffeine) 2. Destress beforehand - allow yourself to feel comfortable, put your mind at rest. Practice relaxation techniques before the appointment or discuss with your lash tech while getting lashes done and she can put on relaxation music/relaxation podcast 3. Anxiety - explain to your lash tech prior to the appointment what your needs are. What you’re looking to have. To confirm the appointment. What your concerns are. Sometimes long face to face consultations and speaking about what you want/need/dislike can feel a lot. Discussing this one messages works best for some people and they can enter there appointment feeling less worried. (A lot of people suffer with anxiety, don’t be afraid to let you lash tech know how your feeling so they can help) 4. Sleep - girl you don’t need to tell me you went from the club, to the after party to your appointment I can see it in your eyes 😅 it happens live your life. REMINDER TO WASH YOUR LASHES!! 🧼 Let’s talk about the proper way to wash your lash extensions and why!! Clean lashes last longer!! You should be washing your lashes at LEAST once a day. Cleaning your lashes protects from infection and lash mites! Washing your lash extensions with a shampoo specifically made for lash extensions helps remove oil, dirt, and makeup which is crucial for the best retention!! How do I wash my lashes? Step 1. Having the proper after care: Lash Shampoo, rinse bottle, fluffy wash brush, and a mini fan and or blow dryer (on cool setting!) I have everything for sale too! Step 2. Wet your lashes and pump shampoo on your lashes and get to cleaning! Step 3. Rinse with water and PAT excess water Step 4. Dry fully for lashes to go back to being nice and fluffy! Remember lash shedding is normal! We shed 2-3 lashes per day more or less depending on your lash cycle!
