I don’t know if you all have noticed this lately, but there appears to be a high number of barbers, especially influencers/teachers who edit their fades and blur out the hairlines with photoshop. In my opinion, this is giving students/clients unrealistic expectations. Students pay too dollar to go to these classes with a false sense of reality. We must choose the kind of hairdresser we want to be, lazy or willing to push yourself to the limits. We must get back to pure education, pure form and technique. No edits, no photoshop, b&w for texture and style. All scissors, no smoke and mirrors.
