Dear Dad

I still think about you every single day. Some days it hits harder than others, but there’s never a day where you don’t cross my mind. It’s hard knowing I can’t pick up the phone and hear your voice or sit down and talk with you like we used to.

A lot has changed since you’ve been gone, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the love and respect I have for you. I carry your lessons with me everywhere I go. The way you moved, the way you handled life, the strength you showed — it all made me into the man I am today.

There are moments I wish you could see. The progress I’m making, the things I’m building, the people I’m taking care of. I wish I could hear you say you’re proud of me. I hope somehow, somewhere, you already know I’m trying my best.

Losing you left a pain that never fully goes away. I’ve learned how to live with it, but I’ll never stop missing you. Sometimes I catch myself wanting just one more conversation, one more laugh, one more piece of advice.

Thank you for everything you did for me — for the sacrifices, the love, the guidance, and even the hard lessons. You helped shape my heart and my mindset. I promise to keep going hard, keep chasing my goals, and keep making the family proud.
