I’m truly happy to see how much the nail industry is evolving.

For years, I tried to show a side of nail care that was not always popular on Instagram. Most people wanted to see only perfect, beautiful nails. But I always believed that nail care is not only about beauty. It is also about comfort, confidence, cleanliness, and helping people feel better in their own skin.

Showing paramedical pedicure work was not always easy. I received a lot of negative comments and criticism over the years, simply because this type of work was not common or widely understood.

But I kept sharing it because I knew there were so many people struggling with nail concerns quietly, feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, or unsure where to go.

Today, I feel grateful to see more professionals becoming interested in this field, learning more, and understanding the importance of advanced foot and nail care. This means the industry is growing, and more clients will have access to the care and education they need.

It reminds me of when I first started introducing Russian manicure in my city. At that time, it was not common here, and very few people understood it. Now, it has become a major part of the nail industry.

I believe paramedical pedicure is also becoming part of that change.

This toenail has lifted from the nail bed due to trauma, which is called onycholysis. When this happens, moisture, oils, dead skin, and daily buildup can get trapped underneath the nail.

During this deep cleaning, I carefully thin the lifted area, remove only the detached part, and clean underneath the nail with professional smart pedicure tools.
