āØUpcoming Closure⨠The Lash Barn will be closed August 15-18 for maintenance + our new roof installment! Yāall know how needed this new roof is, one of the main stressors in my business is finally being fixed š
We will be open next Wednesday to accommodate being closed Tuesday! Next week is also when Emma starts, which means more availability Thursday, Friday + Saturday! Her books are filling up, so pre-booking is HIGHLY recommended (she already has some fully booked days and she hasnāt even started yet! š).
I also wanted to say thank you to all of our regulars for being so patient during this time of change and adjustment. There has been a lot happening behind the scenes and running a fully booked salon on top of it is a lot for me, and I appreciate everyone being so kind and understanding š¤

Iām so excited to officially introduce Emma, our new lash + brow artist!
Emma is experienced in lash extensions, lash lifts, brow laminations, waxing, and tinting, and I truly think she is going to be such a great fit here at the barn. She is so sweet, talented, and has the same love for customized, natural-but-noticeable results that we do.
Her books are officially open, and sheāll be taking clients Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. That means we now have more availability and can begin welcoming new clients again! āØ
To celebrate, youāll receive 10% off your first appointment booked with Emma, and the first five people to book will also receive a $20 retail voucher to use during their visit. š¤ (1 has already been claimed so donāt wait! š)
I already know yāall are going to love her, and I canāt wait for everyone to meet her!
Book through the link in our bio and select Emma as your artist š
The $20 retail voucher is available to the first five clients who book a lash appointment with Emma and is valid on in-stock retail products at that appointment.

A little booking update from The Lash Barn š¤
There are quite a few moving pieces happening over the next few months, so I wanted to keep everyone in the loop!
⨠New clients: For the time being, Iāve temporarily paused accepting new clients and turned off new client online booking due to some upcoming schedule changes, more on that below! Established clients can continue to book and reschedule online as usual. š¤
š Roof update: Weāre still waiting for a confirmed date for the new roof installation. Once I know more, there is a chance some appointments may need to be adjusted depending on the construction schedule. If yours is affected, Iāll reach out directly!
š¤ Upcoming surgery: I just found out yesterday that Iāll need to have surgery within the next month, so I wanted to give everyone as much of a heads-up as possible! I donāt have a confirmed date yet, but once I do and have a better idea of what recovery will look like, I will most likely need to move a few appointments around. If your appointment is affected, Iāll reach out personally and do everything I can to find another time that works for you!
šļø Market Days: Going forward, I will no longer be taking lash appointments during Bracken Village Market Days, which takes place on the 4th Saturday of each month. With the extra noise and foot traffic throughout the village, itās just not the best environment for a relaxing lash appointment. If you normally book Saturdays, please keep this in mind when scheduling ahead!
š Holiday prebooking: Speaking of scheduling ahead⦠the holidays will be here before we know it! If you know youāll want your lashes fresh for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Yearās, I highly recommend prebooking your appointments now. There are currently only FIVE appointments left during Christmas week! šš
Thank you all for being so patient and flexible with me while I juggle approximately 47 moving pieces at once šš¤ I appreciate you guys more than you know!

Introducing my favorite part of my morning routine: Peptide Eye Masks! Iām wearing one of these EVERY MORNING while I get ready and it gives my tired lash artist under eyes the hydration they need, and plumps + smooths without the discomfort I have found a lot of under eye masks have given me! These have been selling like hotcakes at the barn, 1 left until our next restock! šļøāØš

āØSummer Updates⨠I canāt believe itās already summer! With that comes a couple updates to hours, closures, etc.
Please also take note that I am temporarily not taking any new clients with only evening or weekend availability, those are my most requested appointments and I donāt want to take away availability from my pre-existing clients š¤
My books typically fill up 3 weeks in advance so pre-booking is not only highly encouraged, but necessary. Youāre always welcome to join the waitlist for any last minute openings (youāll be the first to know!)
Thank you for your continued support of me and my business, I wouldnāt be here without you! š„°

Letās chat about dreaded šlash gapsš and how theyāre not always due to mechanical damage, sometimes it just happens!
ć°ļøThe number 1 culprit in lash gaps that Iāve seen is overuse of a lash curler. You wouldnāt believe how many new client full sets or Korean lash lifts Iāve done where they come in with lashes literally broken in half because of a lash curler
ć°ļøPicking at + pulling out your lashes is also a huge reason for gaps. I know a lot of people are stress pickers, but when youāre prematurely plucking out a lash youāre not only damaging the follicle, but since that lash wasnāt ready to shed it may take longer to come back
ć°ļøStress + hormones play a huge factor in the more natural side of lash loss + gaps. If you tend to lose hair when youāre super stressed, it probably extends to your lashes as well. Hormone imbalances can also affect your hair + lash cycle (any fellow PMOS girlies relate? šāāļø)
ć°ļøMedications can play a part in your hair + natural lashes. My clients on glpās have noticed more natural shedding, as well as those on medications for hormones, thyroid, etc. I personally deal with this every month when I do my monthly round of infertility meds, I have hair + lash loss like crazy š
But itās not a death sentence for your lashes, they will come back, slowly but surely! You can speed it up with the use of lash serums + being super nice and gentle with your lashes š¤
Please note Iām not a scientist, this is just what Iāve noticed in my clients over the last 6 years āŗļø

If you invest in your lashes, donāt skip the cleanser š¤ A good aftercare routine can make a huge difference in how your lashes look + feel between appointments, which is why I retail the Lash Cleanser!
Itās gentle, effective, and helps remove makeup, oil, pollen (TX girlies understand), and everyday buildup that can affect both your retention and lash health. Remember, clean lashes = happier lashes! š«§
