Client request: “close but not bald”
Barber response: “no worries I got you”
Some barbers would say this is an easy cut but on the contrary let’s take a deep dive into my mind as your barber.
This gentleman benefits from having a lighter complexion in this instance, which can allow for the hair to potentially show up better. However being that this client requested to go close but not bald will NOT allow for the same clean & KEEN outcome that you’re typically use to seeing in a bald fade. Accompanied with different hair density patterns and his combination of floating and flat hair types throughout the head, can create a real nightmare for some barbers if you are not aware of these things. Also keeping in mind the symmetry between his long hair on top & head-shape , the outline/shape up Must be executed at a high-level along with the blend 🌪 to allow for this haircut to be top tier. Barbers and clients let me know what you think..like, comment and share.
