Sometimes our community needs a little more than a self-care day. Sometimes it needs us to show up for each other.
Iām participating in a fundraiser to help support a family member who is going through an incredibly difficult time. While I canāt fix what theyāre facing, I can use something I love, (my business and my community), to help make things a little lighter.

Letās get one thing straight:
Creating content and showing up on social media is simply part of the expectation nowadays if you want to keep a small business afloat.
Iām not here trying to go viral. Iām not trying to become an influencer. And Iām definitely not here to compare myself to other professionals who might be better at content, have a bigger following, or simply have figured out the social media game better than I have.
Iām just trying to show up, do what I love, and get my business in front of the right people.
Sure, clicks matter. Likes matter. Comments matter. Shares matter. They all help get my page in front of more peopleā¦ and ultimately, help the right clients find me.
And honestly thatās all I could ask for.
Because when one of my posts lands on someoneās FYP, I hope it finds the right person. The Baddie whoās looking for an estie who gets her. Someone who wants more than just a wax or a facial, but someone to help her feel confident, comfortable, and cared for throughout her skin journey.
I know Iām not everyoneās cup of tea, and Iām perfectly okay with that.
But the Baddies who are my people? They become so much more than clients.
They become like daughters. Sisters. Aunts. And, for a small handful, even like mothers.
And THAT is why I keep showing up.
