✨ WHY DOES AN ENZYME FACIAL TINGLE? ✨

Enzymes are not “just a mask”, they are active professional exfoliants designed to help loosen and digest the buildup of dead skin cells on the surface of your skin.

Many enzyme formulas are created at a specific pH and may also contain exfoliating acids or other active ingredients. Because of this, you may experience temporary tingling, warmth, or a prickly sensation while the product is working. This can be completely normal, especially if your skin is dry, dehydrated, sensitive, or has a compromised barrier.

However, more stinging does NOT mean better results. Your esthetician will monitor your skin, ask about your comfort level, and remove the product early if needed. A sharp, intense, or unbearable burning sensation should always be communicated immediately.

Before your treatment, we will explain what you may feel and customize the enzyme, timing, and intensity for your skin. Beautiful results should never require suffering. 💗
