We also softened her faded golden tones, replacing them with a fresh, cool-neutral blonde. The result? Luminous, lived-in color that stays vibrant between appointments.

Thoroughly enjoyed working on this haircut! I love being able to use a razor to create an organic shape to the hair and texturized with texturizing shears and deep notching which helped remove some of the weight and creates more effortless volume.

This canvas started with 3 tones
> Roots: natural
> Mids: grown out, faded copper red
> Ends: brassy gold
Applying a shadow root and toner made all the difference for this end result!
At the root, I seamlessly blended a beige violet into the faded copper red since she no longer desired the the copper tone and wanted her natural hair to blend into it and did the same beige violet tone, adding ash, at a higher level on mids to ends to cancel the brassy tones.

Transitioning Pt. 1
Today I started the first session of taking these lovely locks from black box color to blonde. She had a ton of red undertones after lightening but green was my friend here and was able to cancel out the red to achieve this gorgeous caramel tone 😍
